TWC's three Commissioners hear administrative reports, discuss and act on agency business, and decide unemployment insurance cases. The public is invited to comment before the Commission on any issue within the jurisdiction of the Commission.
The Commission on Human Rights is in the Civil Rights Division of TWC.
The Office of the Commissioner Representing Employers sponsors the Texas Business Conferences, a series of employer seminars around the state. Employers are encouraged to attend at least one of the seminars in order to learn nuts and bolts information on state and federal employment laws and how to deal with the unemployment claim and appeal process.

The Texas Workforce Commission is accepting comments on the Proposed Child Care and Development Fund State Plan for Federal Fiscal Years 2014 and 2015 at a public hearing to be held on Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at 1:00 p.m.
The conference targets financial requirements that apply to Local Workforce Development Boards, other Texas Workforce Commission Grantees, and both entities’ subrecipients or subgrantees.

The Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) is holding a series of public meetings to hear from interested Texans concerning the transfer of the Adult Basic Education program from the Texas Education Agency to TWC.
