The following sections were revised to update policy related to SSI and SSDI, processing Tickets to Work and EN Payments. A new form letter, DARS3310, was developed to use when requesting medical records from Disability Determination Services related to VR cost reimbursement or Ticket to Work.
The following sections were revised to redefine the types of maintenance and transportation services, define documentation requirements when using these services, and to add requirements to verify the receipt of these services. Revisions also clarify self-employment policies related to limited liability corporations and the required use of benefits planning for SSI/SSDI recipients pursuing self-employment.
The Rehabilitation Policy Manual (RPM) has been updated to renumber and reorganize existing content to enable more intuitive use of the RPM. Chapters 1-4 will remain the same. Chapter 5, which was previously titled, "Services," has been separated into eight individual chapters organized by the type of service provided. These new chapters are:
The remaining RPM chapters have been renumbered and their order aligned with the VR process.
