Workforce Development Board members must complete management and board development training within the first 90 days of your service as a board member. If you do not complete the training before the 91st day after your certification as a board member, you are ineligible to continue serving on the board.
The training includes emphasis on the importance of high-quality workforces to the economic prosperity of local communities and encourages you to be an advocate in your community for effective and efficient workforce development programs.
You have three options for meeting your training requirement:
