The Texas Workforce Commission provides grants in amounts over $25,000 with State of Texas funding in the following programs.
Skills Development Fund
Skills Development provides grants to community and technical colleges to provide customized job training programs for businesses who want to train new workers or upgrade the skills of their existing workforce.
Apprenticeship
Apprenticeship combines paid on-the-job training under the supervision of experienced journey workers with related classroom instruction. All apprenticeship training programs and apprentices must be registered with the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Apprenticeship.
